The site you're currently viewing was designed by yours truly (now June.co :). When I decided to begin designing websites, I thought what better way to get started than to create my own. I knew I wanted something straightforward and elegant in it's own way - simple to navigate but not completely dull. I started playing around with ideas in Illustrator and designed the logo, and then found little details to tie it all together. I chose a basic color scheme of blues, greys, and greens to add areas of interest and to evoke a calm and laid back mood for the site.
This website is different than the other two examples with one main reason being that this site uses a blog format. It can be added to almost any site I create and is extremely user friendly. It is easy on the eyes and does not feel chaotic or distracting. I love that the blog can be dressed up with buttons and images or anything you may need.
My goal for the site was to create a place that used content and layout to reduce stress - seamlessly floating from one click to the next. Take a look around and make yourself at home.
At the bottom of the page there is an area for you to subscribe to The Perspective Blog, so feel free to join my mailing list. You'll be the first to see new posts and updates from june.co.
I use MailChimp to set up and send out the mailing campaigns, and I offer this as one of my professional services.
